I finished this drawing yesterday.
Not really that happy with it...
It was supposed to be more whimsical.

It's probably to small to see at this size, but she has a frog in the bag. :3
Cause I love frogs.
I really want to do a drawing of a frog or a cat soon... >_>;

Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo

When I saw the title of this drama, I got interested. When I learned there would be foreigners learning Japanese in it, I thought I might be able to learn some more Japanese myself. I was kind of excited.
I watched episode 1, and... I don't think I want to watch anymore. >_<;

^Riisa telling off the foreigner. So pretty~
It starts off... with a rather stereotypical view of a foreigner being loud, obnoxious and rude, with a little situation on public transportation. It was definitely cringe worthy. Not only because of the stereotyping, but also because the acting was subpar.
I've seen the main Japanese actor Riisa in Kami no Shizuku, and Ninkyo Helper, and I thought she was a decent actor - for a Japanese drama. But in this drama, I find her rather irritating. Which is ironic, because her character's history in the drama includes previously being a 'charismatic' salesperson. She seems to have charisma only in her title. >_<
Many of the non-Japanese actors are rather annoying to, I don't think they have much acting experience.

^ A piece of tuna. :3
You can learn a bit of Japanese from it, though, at least what you can learn from this episode isn't really all that helpful for learning useful Japanese, but definitely was interesting. >_<; It touches on counters, and it went through the different names for pieces of tuna as it's taken from the sea and cut up. I don't think I'll try to remember that, but it was fun to know that there are different counters as it's processed.
You can also learn the names of some random pots, which will be useful if you ever work in a ramen shop. XD
There is a lot of stereotyping of foreigners in Japanese dramas... They always seem portray some evil to be defeated. :/
Though, at the end of this drama, they made out the initial rude guy to be more... likable...
It's a drama that really feels unnatural. I think that comes from the fact that it's supposed to be a comedy and is based off a manga, but I didn't find any part of it particularly funny.

Drew another friend.
Recently I watched him build this monster of a computer, where he basically bought the best parts available... And he still plans to overclock it. XD

Ohno x O no Arashi

Ohno-kun!! In the outfit he wore for O no Arashi.
I really, really loved that corner! There wasn't enough of them. XD
This is the first time I drew an outfit they actually wore... And it's rather simple at that, ne. :3
The pic he is holding was my favourite one. I really loved it!
I felt kinda guilty copying it when I was doing this drawing, but it was also extremely fun to do! :D

Not really all that happy with the text/kanji...
I kinda just smushed it on there.
And he's supposed to be doing the victory sign with his left hand, but... I think it rather just looks like his pinky finger kind of wilted or something... >_<;

Aiba x bunny
Jul. 1st, 2010 | 02:11 am
Aiba-chan.
Aiba always has this super-positve-happy-genki air about him. And he kind of seems to float about in my imagination surrounded by cute things. So there is a bunny on his shoulder. :3
Well, sort of on his shoulder.
Kind of looks like it's floating there, ne? Haha. >_<;

Looking back at my previous drawings I did over the past few days... I think they all suck. >_<;
Especially the one with Ohno being depressed and that huge head... Gah! O_O;
:/

MatsuJun x mushrooms
Jun. 30th, 2010 | 02:56 pm
MatsuJun...

I kind of just realized that my drawings creep me out. o_o;
Ah! >_<
And in that basket, are mushrooms. If it isn't obvious. Not sure. @_@;;
He's kind of skipping/prancing here. With an evil kind of look on his face. Sort of. >_>
He's up to something!

Ohno x frog
Jun. 30th, 2010 | 02:06 am
A slightly depressed looking Ohno...
There is a frog on his head 'cause I like frogs. :3

The frog was fun to colour. Everything else more like a chore. :/
I paused after the frog.
And watched an ep of Mago Mago Arashi. Where Ohno was happy... >_<
His arms and legs look super funny here... but it's so fun to draw this way.
So poo on human anatomy. :3
Yay for semi-chibiness.
His head is big here to... Looks a bit painful for the neck. o_o;
